Best BF discounts on current Apple products rarely go above $200, unless you buy something $3000+

Probably not, Apple products don't get discounted that much. It's honestly possible that this is the lowest this goes before it gets replaced by a new model. Just look at the M1 Air that came out an additional year ago, there haven't been increasingly good sales on that.

don’t think this works at costco. maybe bestbuy? would be curious if anyone has done there.
suggest trade in at apple store on old device and get apple gift card and then sell that on a website. it’s actually less work than you think because the trade in process should take all of 5 mins and can even be done all online. i think they send a box too. selling a gift card should also be a 5 minute process.
Good deal, but the 512GB is the limiting factor. The pros should come standard with 1TB now-a-day. I can't even update my 512GB MacBook Pro to the new OS without deleting some major stuff. Definitely a hassle.
These m1 based devices are no joke. Picked up the mac mini m1 last week. Very impressed.
The pro brings active cooling. An interesting hack I saw for the base m1 air is to pop the bottom panel off and use a couple of thermal pads to connect the heatsink to the aluminum chassis.
Lower temps, higher clock speeds and a free lap warmer.
pun intended?

edit: it looks like Costco is the same price. Likely, Amazon is matching Costco's lower price.
