Buy a gallon spray canister and Bifen and you'll save $$$$. An oz of Bifen concentrate will make a gallon. The link below is the first one I saw. You can make 8 gallons for $15 of concentrate. Double check dilution.

What this guy said. Use what the pros use. Stop wasting your money on big box shelf items. The products that the pros use Bifen, will rid your insect problems both inside and outside your house.

I'm def no expert. Instruction says it's "safe" after you let it dry for about an hour. I wouldn't trust it with my own. I encourage you to read the label.

Ortho BugClear is these granules you spread on your lawn and they dissolve into the soil. I spread this in a 30' radius around my patio and it keeps mosquitos to a minimum. It also kills ticks and fleas to keep your pets safe. Lasts about 3 months.

How long does this last and how often do I need to reapply this? (Just wanted a rough idea like 2-3 months, or over a year?)

I'm no expert. If I recall correctly it says to apply monthly. Really tho it depends on your situation. If you're gonna apply near a place that gets rained on or watered often, then that chemical is gonna be washed away faster. I reapply when I start seeing ants. This chemical also kills bees which I really don't like doing. I believe Bifen is the same exact pesticide in Ortho. So you can follow their instructions too. Another option is to get Bifen XTS, which is an oil based version. That may have better longevity. IT is water based. I prefer IT because I worry less about being able to easily wash it off my hands/body.

Not sure if that's a typo. Key words are "up to". I believe you can make different dilutions for different pests you want to address. I'm certainly no expert tho. I do know that I've been buying Bifen instead of overpriced mixed stuff for years now and it's worked very well for me. Good luck.

Make sure you mix in IGRs (Insect Growth Regulators) to reduce the likelihood of the bugs developing resistance. Good to rotate your pesticide type over time too.

Insects and arachnids.

Yes (unless you keep bees as a pet or something). The chemical receptors that make this lethal in insects doesn't exist in vertebrates. I was surprised to learn this as the packaging says it's safe even on kitchen surfaces.

Eliminate nearby sources of standing water, such as old tires or anything else that pools water for several days.

Buy a mosquito fogger if it's still a big problem.

Any method for applying inside for ants? I'm starting to see some crawling in multiple spots. Just spray in corners, door posts, window sills?

Doesn't make sense to ship ANY liquids, let alone poisonous ones. Think, people.

I'm def no expert. I encourage you to read the label. Bottle says this chemical is safe to be used where food is prepared. I personally don't trust that because the chemical is also listed as a carcinogen lol! I only use it where I know I won't contact spread it like a kickboard or corners. I use the mist setting (as opposed to stream) so it doesn't splatter.

Is there anything effective that doesn't kill bees as well? Will it kill bees in my garden or just if they come in the house?

How long do you wait until you allow your pets to go on the lawn?

Yes. And outside as well (doors, windows, etc)
