I have this hammer and it's fine. It's nothing special.

As for the face of the hammer, your options are generally convex or milled/waffle faced. The convex face makes it easier to hammer your nail in without marring the wood, whereas the milled face lets you go nuts without worrying too much about perfect strikes every time. A flat face on a hammer meant for general use would not be a good idea and would not indicate quality to me.

I'd tie two hammers together and create a pontoon boat. I'd have a third hammer to pontoon the Crocs in my castles moat. The castle I built with my bammer, the moat I dug with my umm stop

Some concerning reviews, including some that say the hammer gets dented by nails, rusts easily, and it's somewhat rounded rather than flat (so nails slide off when striking). Not sure what to think given how reputable this brand is
