Heard this one is a power house.
The HD item linked (while I haven't personally used it) is blowing 30% more air at 50% higher speeds. That sounds like an AMAZING upgrade. Of course, you pay for that. Double the price with not battery/charger vs. the OP.
My take: if you have a big yard/heavy workload and can afford the higher price tag, the extra power from the newer model will likely not disappoint. For most applications, however, it is hard to beat $80 for a blower AND battery/charger combo.

The model in the post is rated at 550CFM, which would be a nice upgrade for me.
The one you linked is rated at 730CFM, which is monstrous.
Since Ryobi has also offered a few models in the 600s, I would say this deal, ZRRY40470VNM, while serviceable is not comparable to the RY404010
I can use the leaf blower inside my house without ear protection. I use it for science experiments with laminar flow, levitating a ball in the air to freak out my children.
The battery (4AH) died on day 91. I asked Direct Tools outlet to replace it under warranty and they redirected me to Ryobi. No word yet what that's going to take.
If you're planning on doing quarter acre of leaves/rock gardens/etc you might not be as impressed. It won't replace a dedicated electric/gas blower for 'real' jobs, but it sure as heck makes the smaller jobs more enjoyable when you don't have to roll out stupid electrical cables/mess with gas/maintenance/etc.
The brushless one linked in a post earlier is significantly better, maybe even on par with a good electrical one, but only if you have spare batteries, and the extra $100 i guess.

My neighbor owns a brushless ego 600+ CFM blower that I used to borrow for fall cleanup. This feels like it has about 80% of that power. It's plenty of power for all of my needs. It's decently heavy so I wouldn't recommend it for someone doing very large jobs but it's well worth the price... especially including the battery/charger.
I wouldn't say it's whisper quiet but it's quiet enough to not annoy your neighbors.
