Hardly several.. came out in 2019.. That's a couple.. but also as an early access. So, officially the game was released April 20th 2022 from Early Access.
Several is more than 2. If it was out to play for public access in 2019 by April, that would be 3 years. I stand by my statement: several years.
If not, then still more than 2 years and some change.

LOLZ! It's not a couple. It's a few.
Sure, but to state several would mean it was a very long time ago which it really isn't. Early release was October 2019. It is now April 2022 that isn't 3 years yet. That is 2 years and 7 months. Less than 3 xD
Regardless, couple, few and several all generally have the same meaning per many of the dictionaries.
...It was very shocking and disturbing at the time and as a young teen I loved every minute of the shock value, but I'm not the target audience anymore and it doesn't hold the nostalgia to be worth another play through.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I played this (probably pirated) on PC back when it was released, and college me was very amused by the ridiculousness of everything. I remember most of it having a significant tongue-in-cheek vibe since I've found a focus on violence in games without self-awareness gets pretty boring for me. Definitely a "can you believe we put this in a video game?" thing.
I converted an old laptop to an HTPC a couple years ago and saw Postal 2 on sale for something like a buck on Steam, so I figured I'd load it up for giggles. I think I only got about half an hour in before deleting it. The mechanics/controls are so bad compared to today's games, and what felt like "pushing the envelope" back then feels either played out or cringey to me today. That giddiness/amusement at the content back in the day is difficult to maintain in a world in which the behaviors associated with it have become commonplace or stale tropes.

Pee on the donuts then have the cops eat them. I'd always sneak into the police station beginning of each level to get the cop uniform so they didn't hassle me as much.
Still relevant with the woke cancer trying to spread through society today. Juvenile for sure but that's the fun of it. Shock value. Do what you're not supposed to do... say what you're not supposed to say.
IGN giving the new game a 2/10 is good advertising given the state of the media today.
