Simple rule of thumb for me. Never buy Acer.
Hey y'all, stop piling up on this guy! He said it's HIS rule, he has he reasons. He should probably explain, that would be nice. This is a great machine by all measures and reviews, but maybe he's been put through hell by Acer customer support? laugh out loud

Here's something that might actually be more helpful than hostile posts - An in depth review of this machine (lower specs but still):

Meanwhile, play nice. I'm sick of this sh*t.

Looks like a great deal to me. 16:10 aspect ration and an HD webcam.... the two typical weak spots for many 360 degree foldable laptops like this. I would buy if I hadn't jumped on a recent Samsung deal. For what it's worth, I've had two Acer laptops, and did not have a problem with either. They were solid.

Why 16:10 aspect ratio is a weak spot?

It's an advantage compared to all the 16:9 laptops out there.

Acer certainly isn't my favorite brand and not likely to be as high quality in comparison to some others but I'm not sure you can disqualify it entirely. Acer products I've owned have held up. Entitled to your opinion, but I'd be curious why you feel that way.

Anyone who says 16:10 is a weak spot for these small 2in1's have NO idea what they are talking about 16:9 is weak. you want more vertical for smaller 2in1's like this. 4:3 is too much. 16:10 is the sweet spot and you will see more 2in1 moved to it. I have the i5 version of this and its great.

A bit heavy to me.

Which one is better? This one is just 2.31lb with 1TB SSD but 899.99.

you probably already noticed this but, the one you posted has a smaller screen, so yea the smaller laptop will make it lighter too

Just the resolution is smaller, however, it is 14" compared to 13.3".

I also think the same nd that's why asking that guy why he was saying 16:10 is one of the weak points for this laptop.

I personally like 3:2 for a laptop.

Why can no one read your comment properly! People, he is saying that not having 16:10 is a weak spot for other laptops and an advantage of this laptop.

Can people get work done on a 13" laptop or are these more for surfing and leisure?
