Agreed, if you are planning on docking a laptop this replaces the charger, the dock unit, the speakers, several extra cables, with one amazingly tidy connection. That's worth $100 and then some. If you don't plan on using those features, it might not be.

You referring to the 32" ultrafine 4k model? Yes, that is also ergostand. I want that one too!

I bought this monitor 2 weeks ago for $349 which was after $100 off. I'll try to get a refund on 29th.

This is a very nice monitor for wfh. No need to buy monitor arms and the ergo stand works a lot better than the monitor arms you can buy below $100. So $300 is a great deal. Plus, it has usbc and built in speakers.

Would this be good for A xbox series S or gaming pc?
75Hz Refresh Rate & 5ms Response Time

That is not a "gaming" monitor. If you're playing a lot of FPS or other fast pace games, the ghosting won't be ideal. If you're playing games where refresh/response time doesn't matter (RPG, wargames, etc.), this is fine.

This is probably okay for movies/games, but those truly seeking a monitor (for applications/computing) should consider something with a higher pixel density. 2560x1440 @ 32in is pretty poor

32" 1440p is the same pixel density as a 24" 1080p. It's fine for office work, media streaming, etc. It won't be as sharp as 4k but nowhere near as detrimental as some might think.

I run 3 QHD monitors at work. IMO, 32" (or 31.5") QHD is perfect for work (and watching movies). Easier on the video card, as well. 4k is nice for text, but QHD & 32" means you don't need to have drastic text scaling and the occasional mismatched, tiny icons in a menu.
Interesting, I've always felt 27" QHD is perfect, but really want to give this monitor a try. Wish they had the 27" model for this price

got excited for a second when i thought it was the 4k version. at 32", you really need 4k resolution if you use this monitor primary for productivity which it's geared towards.

It was $500, but there was a $50 off $400 coupon available to every member, so it was $450.
At this point I'll take it for $500.

I got in on the ultrafine deal a few months back. Seemed like a splurge at the time. Then I remembered I look at the thing 16 hours a day. Very happy. I'm sure this one is also very good. Could always get two from this deal and ball out and get better bang for buck and productivity than one ultrafine...

Costco warranty plus ergo stand. Pull the trigger, boys (and girl).

This is simply your personal preference and not a need.

I have had the Dell for a year now. It has sound issues (have to turn it to 0 otherwise high-pitch coil sound) and mine also becomes somewhat pixelated (as if goes to 720p) and flickers for 5-10 seconds a couple of times a week. I'd probably not buy it again. I thought it was

I thought it was my m1 air or the usb-c adapter. Now on m1pro with direct hdmi input - same issue.

You mean HDMI out, so you can use the usb-c from your laptop to drive two monitors at once? No but i do wonder if it does displayport-mst or the equivalent via USB-C since its got a variety of fancy USB features like "USB Down-stream Yes (2ea/ver3.0)" but its not clear what that does. This thing is pretty new so theres not a lot of complete material out there for it. I would also caution, I have a dual 1440p setup and it seems most laptops/docks dont support full res dual 1440p at 60hz via the USB-C. I have resorted to using the usbc plus the hdmi direct on the laptop.
