Not sure about the downvote. There is a FP deal on this same Laptop at $625 with 5600H and RTX 3050. By paying just $75, you're getting a better CPU with 2 extra cores and 4 extra threads, 10% to 15% more powerful GPU. The downside is half the SSD storage but that can be easily upgraded or added by just paying $30-$40 for a 512GB Drive whereas CPU and GPU can't be upgraded.

Yep, this is easily the best deal ever on a powerful 8 core CPU and a decent GPU combo. I was going to pull the trigger myself but the screen review stopped me. It's absolutely garbage, barely distinguishable from 60Hz panels in terms of response times. Source for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/xw6Xw_uKo58?t=58
If there was any urgency in my case, I would've still gotten it because for $700 and these specs, the screen is still acceptable. But I'm in no rush so I can afford to wait for something at a similar price point with a better screen. Last I heard even budget HPs had pretty decent screens(the 144Hz variants). Perhaps same could be said for Lenovo, but I've had issues with hinges on Ideapads so I'm biased with them.

You are also getting a much larger battery, 86 vs 56 WHr. This is a far better deal.

Sadly, below $700 or even $800, these are kind of Panels you're going to get with Gaming Laptops. The 144Hz screen you're referring, does not mean it is a better screen and all the Companies uses 250-nits 45% NTSC 144Hz screen with very high response time in their budget Laptops or entry level models, including HP, Asus (TUF series, ROG Strix Series 144Hz Panel, Acer Nitro Series, HP Omen, Pavilion and Victus series, the basic 250 nits 144 Hz Panel). You may get better hardware configuration like more powerful GPU, slightly higher Ram or storage, but hard to find one with decent configuration + a good quality high refresh rate Display.
Dang, I wish this woulda been up a week sooner. I definitely would have spent the extra money over what I paid for the 5600H model just for the bigger battery. I guess I will have it plugged in most of the time so I'll try not to be too upset over the maybe 10% faster gpu.
