Great looking monitor with horrible quality control. I sent back 3 of these due to dead and stuck pixels and eventually gave up and got the Alienware 38 inch monitor.

Alienware also had 3 year warranty and $100 gift card. Might be able to use the 10% off code you get from signing up for the mailing list https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/a...ccessories

EDIT: Costco is nice though because monitors are excluded from the 90 days return policy and instead abide by the 100% satisfaction guarantee. Pretty insane perk if you ask me!

90 days don't applied to monitors

I returned one of those sharper image massagers that I bought like 1.5 yrs ago. I thought the guy at the returns desk was going to cry lol. He seemed pretty irritated about it laugh out loud

I don't know why the worker even care so much. It does not affect them.

To be fair, I have the AW and it has 3 dead pixels on it, not enough to get replaced.

I think LG is better than DELL:

LG: 144Hz (160Hz O/C) -- Not sure 144/160 are for both DP and HDMI (I am thinking DP only on O/C)?
DELL: DisplayPort: 144 Hz, HDMI: 85 Hz

UPDATED: LG website shows HDMI up to 75 Hz so then I think DELL may be better for those who have the $120 AmEx offer combined with the $100 gift card (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg...ng-monitor). But the Costco lifetime return policy on monitors is hard to beat for sure!

Is Costco warranty lifetime? How can I get more details on it.

Forgive the ignorance, it's been a lifetime since I've looked into getting a monitor. But seeing as we're already at the $1200 range, what might be some reasons that I would get this specific monitor vs the dell qd led monitor? the AW3423DW I mean? I know this one is bigger and potentially brighter. And the other one isn't in stock til like july. Anything else?

DO NOT BUY an LG monitor. I'm sitting here looking at an $800 monitor that died on month 14. LG's 1-year warranty means it's a big paperweight now.
