I bit on this. Great reviews and cheap enough if it doesn't last forever. I have a relatively clean pool so just needs something to pick up a few leaves and small debris.

Thoughts on this for just helping with some light algae? Can this replace brushing every week? My patio is screened in so I don't get much debris. Thanks! I'm going to start doing some research when I'm on break edit: nvm doesn't seem like a good option for that as it just has the water flow through and should mainly be good for small debris

I have a 16'x32' above ground vinyl pool. Limited wrinkles but a few.

My concern is the "up to" 50 min run time. Can only go down hill from there.

IMO better to buy Seagull 1000 for bigger battery, longer 90 min run time and can climb some slope.

I have the older model. Its not that useful if pool is moderately filled with medium sized leaves as they get stuck in the openings, preventing further cleanup. It's not completely useless, that's all I can say.

My understanding is getting rid of algae is about chemicals, not scrubbing. Head on over to the forums at troublefreepool.com for some great free advice by experts.

these don't last very long. The 2 prong charging port corrodes within a year and if you're out of warranty your out of luck.
