This is kind of a niche oriented mouse. I find it perfect and the best fit for my office work needs due to:
By having the shortcut buttons on top, it is a truly ambidextrous mouse, and yes, once you get use to it, you can easily reach any button.
It has on-board memory, meaning once you program the shortcuts, it doesn't rely on a software to use them. My work pc doesn't accept 3rd party software, but once you program this guy, you can plug it anywhere and all shortcuts will work as you programed them.
Also, even though this deal is only about 2-3 dollars off regular price, I find the price to be excellent for a good quality mouse with such great features.

I've been using it for over 3 years now and can say you can easily reach them. It only takes a bit of getting used to. However, this mouse is most useful for left handed or ambidextrous mouse users. There may be better options for right handed people.

Haven't tried it, but just look at where the forward/back buttons would be. How are you supposed to reach that?

If you don't mind that it's got that colorful 'gaming' look it's great for home/office work.
It can be easily programmed to cut/paste and forward/back with the LGS logitech gaming setup software. Don't get the new Logitech software. It won't let you customize the keys easily.

But awesome mouse on sale.

I've had 2 of these mouses. 2 have broke, both broke within the year I bought both.

They were my first gaming mouse. Loved the design and feel, wish it was sturdier.

Just my experience with this mouse. I now use a Razer Basilisk Gaming Mouse. It's lasted me 2+ years now.

My go-to for the last few years. It's simple but gets the job done. Decent for gaming, very good for everyday use.

It's meant for gaming. Clicks are average for Omron switches.

Just a heads up for scroll-heavy users: The wheel on this is terrible.

No tactility, small, and the typical "cheap" sometimes crunchy feeling of most of Logitech's wheels after about a week.

You can take it apart and grease them like you have to do with all their mice, but at this price point, there are better options.

If you need all 9 buttons, the Redragon M692 is wireless and only costs $16.

I'm going to try this due to all the good comments on this one. My daughter was looking for a new mouse. Not sure if she'll like that it's not wireless but she does have a wireless one that still works well. We'll see.
