Chrono Trigger: Get it, duh. Great price. Has gamepad support (I only got it to work with my SteelSeries Nimbus mifi certified controller, not with regular Bluetooth controllers like PS4/Xbox)
Secret of Mana: A classic, I want it, but looks blurry and a top reviewer says the visuals gives them a headache. Has gamepad support
I'm considering at least one of the others, but curious about gamepad support and if they're worth it (vs playing on original hardware or another console). I played FF Tactics on the GBA and enjoyed it, but battles just took too long imo.

If I'm reading the links right, there are 2 different versions of FFT:WotL and the "iPad" version is a dollar more? Is there some difference between the two versions?
Make sure to check controller support before you buy if that's important to you, some square enix games don't allow them or only work vertically (DQVIII).

I have both versions already, and the only major difference is the more expensive one has been updated to support retina displays. It is worth the extra dollar, but it's extremely frustrating that both versions are still in the store. The old one just needs to be removed to avoid confusion. Neither version has been updated for two years.

Ah got it. At least there's some benefit to the extra dollar. Thanks for the info.
I would buy Chrono Trigger in a second if they let you skip that scene where you have to catch the rat. Playing that without a game pad is beyond frustrating.
For those that haven't looked into it before, I STRONGLY recommend checking out the Eclipse emulator. No jailbreak needed, easy to set up, and very user friendly. There are several tutorials on YouTube.
Not looking to take away from supporting the good ports of these games, but given Square Enix's poor support of old releases, you might have a better experience with Eclipse depending on the game and OG platform. Playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on an iPad with a controller is just 👌

Definitely is for me. I play through it yearly and have since the game launched. It has aged so beautifully too.
