I was emailed this deal by microcenter on their weekly ad. There is a microcenter in my city however I was able to go to my Best Buy which is next door to me and they were able to price match. With my total tech package, which includes delivery and free installation, this turned out to be a great deal. I was waiting a while for the C1 model to drop below 2500 and finally did.

Did the microcenter store you price matched to have any in stock? It shows the store near me has 0 in stock so I'm curious if it's even worth trying to get best buy to price match

edit:so I price matched best buy online successfully and I had gift cards and rewards to use which brings my total to about $2350.

I also have a Samsung QN90A on order that will come out to be about $2100 after tax.

my question is which should I go with qn90a 85 for $2100 or lg c1 77 for $2350???

honestly if the Samsung is pretty close to the lg c1 I'd rather save the money keep my gift card and have the bigger tv.

My microcenter did have it in stock, as far as your question, both tvs are great choices, I know the c1 scores well for gaming as one of the best available which is why it was choice to go with for me.

It was $2250 at Samsung OOS now I believe but keep your eye on it because it went out and came back. $2330 after tax. Getting 10% back with cancellation trick after it ships

Update 1: had no problem price matching at BB via online chat with next day delivery, surprisingly

Update 2: cancelled the order and instead grabbed the one from Video Only for $2200.
It's listed for $2299 but it does not hurt to ask for a discount. I saw some people getting $150 off but I wasn't lucky enough but happy with the extra $100 off

I'm surprised this deal didn't gain more traction. I picked up the last one at the Chicago store this evening and with a Microcenter credit card it was 2499.99 all in including tax, delivery, 48 months free financing and the choice of a LG QP5 Mini soundbar or a LG XBoom 360 portable speaker. Pretty slick. They told me this was listed as Z stock and they would not be getting any new ones in once they are gone. Looks like it's sold out in most places but I see a few stores on the east coast still had stock showing. I was tempted to buy a refurbished but glad I held out a little longer for a new one.

Yes, they adjusted it down after the discount and tax to make the total 2499.69 with their card. I don't know if they always do that or if it was just the special they were running that week off the email I received.
