This is the PC implementation of the Terraforming Mars board game.
The board game is Ranked top 6 board games out of all time at BGG : https://boardgamegeek.com/boardga...rming-mars
One of my all time favorite board games personally

The PC version is a good direct translation of the board game to PC.
This is the base game without expansions.
THey do have seperate DLC for the Prelude and one coming for Elysium & Helllas.
You can play local with friends (pass/play), vs AI, true 1 player solo rules or there are online games too.

Nice, i have this for android and it is super fun. Glad i got it for android instead of PC where it is twice the price.

Is this game suitable for 2 player local? Like does the game rely on hidden information making local multiplayer impossible? Idk if local multiplayer is even possible.

I only play 3 player with one human and 2 ai. But it does have the option to add multiple human players. That said you do have a private hand of cards, so tablets or laptops work so you can pass and play. But multiple people watching the same screen would not.

In the old fashioned way, yes, you can just leave the room while the other player plays. Also, I don't think it matters all that much. There's some "attack" cards, but not a lot you can do to dodge them.

I bought this game and the board one too. I know it has like great reviews and stuff, but I could never get into it. Good chance for people to try it for free.

Played the board game for some time, this is a pretty good recreation of it and for the price... I paid for it and have been very happy with it.
