Target has slowly been diluting their promos. This was $50 off last year for a new credit line. You also used to be able to utilize their buy 3, get $10 or $15 gift card with purchase and have it shipped free by using their credit. Now you're required to go to the store or pay a delivery service.

It's either approved instantly or you have been denied. You probably had a debit less than three months ago. Fico means nothing for debit. Apply for credit and you'll be approved.

Why do people keep saying this? The instant approval is only for the credit card. The difference in the apply for credit vs apply for debit page is that the credit page has a selector that says if u are approved u can instantly get it added to your account. The debit page does not have this.

The debit page also has this - I just went through the debit process, was instantly approved and provided the card information on the approval screen.

But also, it's not always instantly approved or all else denied, my family member got pending last week and then was approved a few days later.

How long after closing debit can you get another bonus? When I closed my old one rep told me 3 months, credit card shill bloggers who steal content from SD say 10 days, and in the past I've done it with less?

Also, who in their right mind is applying for the credit card getting a paltry $40? You are aware there's a SD thread on the Chase Sapphire Preferred worth at least $800 right?

For anyone wondering I got my coupon in the mail a day or two ago and tested the double dip. Purchased some stuff this morning in store and surrendered the coupon and just now did an online order for pickup using the Target.com code that was on the coupon. For now, at least, that loophole still looks to be open.

Highly urge anyone interested to apply for the debit card. They gave me a credit limit of 500 despite my credit score being the high 700s. Wasn't worth the hard pull. Couldn't even buy a PS5 with a credit limit that low.
