There is no option for me to pick up the battery in store, forcing me to ship to home.

Seems like the deal is dead — combo comes up at $269 instead of $202…

edit: I was wrong, still works -- I just didn't understand the "hack" part of this. Its $269 if you keep everything, or $202 if you dump the 'extra' item.
