This seems like a good deal for the specs. You can pay half this price, but you'll get half the specs (or less). Plus you get the costco warranty extension and the 90 day return period

sometime in june. you can preorder now but i highly recommend that you avoid all previous generations of laptops and wait for the 12th gen. it is like buying a non M1 mac at this point is not a good idea.

In real life actual usage the battery lasted a little over 9 hours.
MSI reports much longer battery time on their website but this must be using very low screen brightness and disabling many power hungry apps and running laptop at lowest power needs.

What would be the equivalent 12th gen processor a 1260P?

It's already out. I had the 1260p / 32gb version from Best Buy. It had upgraded ddr5 ram & new 1080p webcam. I really enjoyed it, but ultimately couldn't justify the cost. I'm not sure how much it differs from last years model, but this price is a steal.
