I think these have historically run in the $20-40 range, so $11 seemed like a decent deal. SD is debatable.

When I just went in to Amazon it still let's me clip the $5 coupon... so there is no code, just clip their coupon. Hope that helps

Even Amazon has a system detecting fake reviews now and will suspend submission of reviews. Total number is not the question, ratio is, which applies to both reviews as well as bad units, there's always a percentage of bad ones due to quality control the question is are we looking at 1% or something like 25%.

Edit: Fakespot rates it as a C with adjusted rating at 3 stars, same when reanalyzed.

Is the USB plug ONLY used for the lights? I bought another pair a few months back, and the usb only powered the pretty red lights
(no Audio or Microphone functions via USB) ..

Fair point, that doesn't mean there's no fake reviews at all though, shill isn't the same as AI. If a new product has a ton of reviews at a certain point the ratio of number of reviews in relationship to the time since introduction of the product as being available is just questionable. It's basic math. Sometimes there's just a gray area and we don't have enough information to assess but assuming it's all or mostly legitimate would ignore a phenomenon like *if a few days after product is introduced there's tens of thousands of reviews just by common sense.

In case it isn't clear I'm just talking about the principle of the thing and no particular example.
