My Lowes will match the price, so the 10% off coupon deal from Dollar General is looking better...
PS: Shipping with the $2 value 'free candy' is $30.70 and without is $23.95.... lol

I thought they only matched the actual price

Net cost is the actual price and how I argued it at my local Lowes that has 13 of these in stock.
Just because I can buy for $270, I still don't know if I want it. This is a series 3 and our older series 1 is a bit better exterior build that matches today's 780. But, since the now 6th series 780 with the XPS (that can be added for $50 to $75) is now identical to the inner workings of this 779 according to parts diagram, but for some reason quite a bit lighter in weight, $270 net is a deal.
If you wanted to make an identical 780 out of this saw, you would add the XPS, two latches and a metal handle on the back that came with the first series of the 779 for around $100 total. So, for $370 net and you have a 780 if you want to, this is a lot cheaper than the new Makita I have been thinking about.
