Not.
I am on $30 monthly 30GB unlimited talk and text plan. I can use all my quota 30GB for Hotspot. No additional charge.
When I use them 6 months ago, hotspot was additional. But then because my phone was rooted, it bypassed that. Their LTE plan is no better than visible when it comes to prioritization. I was at an event several times, and my phone was pretty useless.
You can find Lycamobile sim cards loaded with 4 months of 9gb LTE for $35 on eBay. Runs on T Mobile.

Yes they roll over, here is a screenshot of my current dashboard.
Interesting - i just did a top-up for my two lines. (in a pool). I'm up for renewal in about a week - so i'll see if we have it. Does it rollover forever, until used? or is it one more cycle, and lose it?

Thanks again!

Unused base plans do not roll over

The base plan (the plan you start your month with) is valid for 30 days and unused balances from it will not roll over.
Top Ups do roll over

Unused minutes, texts, and data from Top Ups do roll over to your next billing cycle. The way they roll over depends on the network you are on.
How does top-up rollover work in GSM LTE

On the GSM LTE Network, minutes, texts, and data from Top Ups are valid for 30 days from the date they were added to your line, regardless of when the base plan ends. Keep in mind that you do need an active line (with a base plan) to have service and be able to use the unused minutes, texts, or data from Top Ups.
How does top-up rollover work in Super LTE

On Super LTE, minutes, texts, and data from Top Ups roll over and have their remaining amount added to the next month's base plan, provided the next plan has been paid for in advance or you have AutoPay set up already. The new plan or AutoPay includes a base plan of the same category as the Top Up.

I can't find tihs info anywhere, but does anyone know if this can be activated it later on the year or has to be within 3 months etc.

Also I tried out their service last December, really strong LTE signal, only issue was a mixup, between the 2 simcards, even though I activated the AT&T one, somehow it activated Verizon one (had to reach outt o their CS which was pretty good).

We were at a wedding. My wife took the car with the kids early. The plan was for me to call a ride home. I didn't realize that apps need to redownload until I had already left the venue.

I broke my toe kicking a stool. It's in a post op shoe and I can still put weight on it. I walk with a cane.

I've been using usmobile for a few months now. Sure it's set up correct. It works most of the time but failing when I need it the most kinda sucks.
Sorry to hear about your injury. I do understand that services are location based. I tried US mobile black card (Verizon) and my service near my home was worse then the white card (T- Mobile). YMMV on this but my recommendation would be to try both SIM cards and if all else fails reach out to their support which has been pretty good from my perspective to see what the issue is. I would expect Austin is large city services should be fairly good.

They use T-Mobile and Verizon only for service T-Mobile side gives you 30 gb priority and Verizon side gives you 75 gb I've been on us mobile for over a year or two and it's been wonderful. I pay 75 bucks a month for 3 lines on the Verizon and I get Netflix but as you said some may have issues but I've never had one

I just ordered the free starter kit to test out the service. Are you able to swap between the ATT and VZ sims any time you want or do you have to contact them to make a change on their end?

You have to contact them for them to make the change on their end via chat which is painless.

Verizon and Tmobile. There is not AT&T offered on US Mobile. They have eSIM now so if your device supports Verizon eSIM it could be even easier if you are doing SuperLTE (Verizon). Yes you need to contact them to provision/port to the new carrier.

I ordered their free SIM kit to try their service for 14 days. I'm using T-mobile towers now on my current service, but would like to try the Verizon towers. Do you know if I can try both SIMS or will I need to pick one and only use that one?

You will need to pick which SIM you want to use. If you want or need to switch SIMs at some point, you would need to call them to set up the other one.

I've recently switched 2 lines to USMobile. The first a couple weeks ago and the second yesterday. I thought I may have needed to switch the first one to the white card after my daughter was complaining of poor connectivity, but the black card with Verizon seems to be working fine. I'm not sure if they did something on their end when I contacted customer support, but I'm happy with their level of support and quickness with responding.

Has anyone successfully ported a number out from US Mobile? I am considering the Boost Mobile deal and currently with US Mobile. Seems they don't post any account # or Pin for porting. Just curious the process and how much a pain it may be?

I did an internal port, switched from GSM to Super LTE. I emailed support and received my account and pin on that same day.

The internal one is easy. I did swap from black sim to white sim before and chat with them.
I am worried about the port out going smoothly as US mobile seems to be a small shop. Most other carriers post ACCT # and Pin right on your account login page.

Can I buy right now and activate month later? Also, which network does it use?

Can existing customers use this? I am already on the 5gig plan paying $15 plus tax around $19 total a month.
If you're not using all 5 GBs, you can switch to Hello Mobile's 4GB plan - it's $15/mo total - for $4 of monthly savings.
