You're kidding right? It's been in stock at Best Buy for a week. Nobody is buying it. The 3090 ti is in stock as well. Now if you can get a 3080 10g FE then you can make money.

Not sure if you're joking or dumb, but a few things:
  • They're selling (ignore asking prices, look at sold) at about $1150 - $1200, so about the same as you're paying retail. But even if you miraculously get ~$1400...
  • You pay tax.
  • You pay eBay fees on the sale.
  • You (probably) pay shipping.
  • You will also be paying taxes on any income you make because eBay now reports all income over $600 to the IRS.

You lose money either way, lose time, have the risk of someone scamming you, and get to be a scalper. I see no possible win here.

This. The last card I bought was gigabyte and it failed after a few months, sent it in, they said it was inspected and sent it back. Failed again 3 days later.
