Unlike the other person telling you to get the bigger more expensive center because he has it, i have actually heard both of these. It all comes down to your room setup. Mine is in a smaller space in my basement where the mlp is just 7 feet away from the center speaker, so the RP 250C was plenty and no noticeable difference between the 2. Now, if your space is bigger and need wider dispersion from your center, then the 450c might be better
