I don't see how anyone can conclude the Cloud Alpha S are slightly better. Reading through the details and the individual category scoring for both, the Cloud 2 is very consistently a bit better across the board - only slightly behind in a few of the dozens of scores.

I'm sure both are just fine for most people, but based on these reviews, I'll stick with my Cloud 2s.

I wouldn't go off of rtings.com for headphone reviews. Cloud II's are better than Alphas.
