bought imac from Costco 90 days back 2019 model for $900. Should have waited for this deal with my reserve card. $900 ( 90k points) for 24" imac latest model can't beat that.

Could you clarify please. I generally use my points for cash transfer to my bank.

Couldn't you have just done that for a $ 900 credit, charged your purchases, and get points plus an extra year of warranty?

I used points one time for a hotel. It was Caesar's Palace. I was treated as a third class customer and given a mediocre room. View of the air conditioners. I had used extra points for an upgraded room. You are not considered a good customer. Since it was our 50th anniversary, I put up quite a stink. They finally upgraded us to a suite with 2 bathrooms.

After that I direct book my hotels and pay. I always get great service. My friend uses the points for airlines. That works well. By the way, after that, the Wynn hotel. Nothing beats the Wynn. Once I became a Wynn customer, I keep getting emails for great deals which include significant food credits.

This is a value of 1.5 cents per point, normally on a purchase (with Chase) you would get 1 cent per point on your purchase, so this is an increased value.

For your hotel room, you probalby booked through the Chase portal and used your points to pay? (or similar) which is an OTA, hotels often treat OTA bookings "lesser" than bookings directly with them.

Better travel values are often had when transferring points to the respective program of that hotel/airline and booking.
However, someone can chime in if a way to book a Caesar's room through another program, IDK off the top of my head.

Example: an iPad Pro 11" 256GB WiFi is $899 or 89,900 points normally. With this current promo for Reserve cards, points are worth 50% more, only 59,933 points are required for redemption

With this reserve deal I was going to pay 90k points to get latest imac 24". Even though I paid $900 for imac from Costco it was 2019 model. Thr value was chase is at 1 : 1.5 points which is way better.
Just bought airpod pros with MagSafe charging for 16.666 points which was originally priced at 24,999 points.
