I've tried 2 refurbished tvs from them, both were broken. It'sa hassle to return tvs this big. Be prepared for the possibility.

I never lived near one. The closest Micro Center is a 12 hour round trip.

Can you buy an extended warranty for these? No way i would spend that kind of money on refurbished without one.

I'm not sure. I am in the market for this exact model and my Microcenter (Houston) has 12 in stock. So maybe I should look at 3rd party warranties.

I'm here in Houston too - - and I've been waiting for a price drop on it. If you looked yesterday there were 11 in stock and today there are 12 as if someone returned one of them. If the screen was replaced I'd be concerned it doesn't have the same picture quality

Bought this refurbished set on April 2nd. Would Microcenter do anything to pricematch or best price guarantee? Just checking for those that have dealt with Microcenter more. Would love to save the $200.

They do provide warranty w/ screen protection for 3yrs, but not burn in.. Covers accidents though..

Where do you see that? I was looking for some info beyond the 90-days listed in specs but didn't see anything.

Check how many hours are on the screen when you get home

I bought one of these MicroCenter OLED refurbs About six months ago

Mine had about 300 hours on it

I was OK with it, but each of you will have your own threshold for previous usage
