I will tell you the opposite. Things were fine for years for my two lines, too.

But, then text messages randomly stopped appearing, and down the rabbit hole of TERRIBLE tech support that never responded to messages, never called back, never figured it out. So, I had to change to another MVNO. Then, Red Pocket said they couldn't remove the carrier lock on my iPhone - a total lie - until I went to the BBB. Then, suddenly they learned how. Of course, I was without that phone for weeks until the magical epiphany.

Just do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns. There are many other, much better, choices.
For those who are looking at some reviews for this, I moved my wife's # over to RedPocket about 5 years ago on this very same plan. She is on the GSMA plan and has had no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend it.
Hello! You'll have the flexibility of a 90-day activation period, and should this be the same plan you are renewing, you can stack now.

However, if the plans are not the same, then the existing plan will be forfeited.

Absolute BS. You should try going through Red Pocket customer service and trying this yourself. Doesnt stack. Even after I read @Red-PocketD saying this before, it absolutely doesn't work. I had the exact same plan, and it deleted the remainder of the time on my original plan, and left me with only 360 from the time of activating the new one.
As long as you select the Renewal option and apply the same plan, then it should stack, as has been the case with various customers.

Please connect with our team at [email protected] or here via PM so that we can take a look at what happened during your experience.

I just talked to the RedPocket Rep, he said it won't stack even if the plan is the same. Who are you? Are you official Red Pocket personnel? Can you verify what is the correct answer?
We're sorry to read about the confusion you experienced with our team. However, we can assure you that the plans will stack if they are the same as your existing ones. Simply select "Renewal" as the SIM Type.

Should you encounter any issues, we encourage you to connect with our eBay team directly or PM here so that we can help.

This was a pain in the butt switching from AT&T. Took a good 3 months for it to fully transfer for my ex-girlfriend. They kept saying they needed a transfer PIN, and AT&T swore they gave the correct one...was back and forth and finally I guess someone figured it out. And even now, I don't think she has LTE on her iPhone XR, it was just showing 3G last I checked.
We encourage you to have your partner connect with our team at forums@redpocket, or feel free to connect with us here via PM so that we can investigate what's going on.

We recommend applying the code the day of your renewal (or a day before) to ensure there isn't any interruption.

Whichever you choose to move forward with, our team is more than happy to help should you have concerns along the way. Simply connect with us via PM here or with our eBay team directly.
@red pocket - I got the $50 off email on annual plan.
It says "$50 off any Annual Plan when you buy a new line from redpocket.com through May 9, 2022". Can I buy it and use it to renew my current line? My line is expiring in June 2022.

Yes, you can switch over to GSMT and keep your number. Simply select the GSMT option under "SIM Type" and port the number to the account during the activation process.

We encourage you to DM us here or connect with our eBay team should you have any questions during the process of porting to the GSMT service.
Does this work the same if I want to switch from GSMA to a Verizon sim?

NEW LINE

Not renewal.
In order to renew you have to add it from your account. And unfortunately there is no way to know if the code is applied until you hit checkout.

I tried all the prepaid (or most of them inc redpocket) but AT&T prepaid if you must have AT&T is great and they have rollover which I am not sure anyone has anymore but is great. I on the $300 year plan (8GB) which gives you hotspot and NA (Canada/US/Mexico) and while it was only 4G I never had an issue. You can buy prepaid cards and I normally pay around $270 all in for the year. While I loved the service there were holes in my neighborhood and I found that AT&T is really strict on supported phones that Verizon has much better coverage so I went to USMobile which is the best prepaid I ever had and pay $71 for 4 unlimited lines BUT it is on Verizon. My brother has had Cricket for 5+ years and loves it also, and they have added features but they are even more strict that AT&T on phones. If you live the iPhone life you are OK. USM They do not offer hotspot for free, and if you travel outside the US its eSIM and data only and they allow Verizon or Tmobile 5G if your phone supports it. BTW AT&T support is the pits, but if I really got stuck I would just go into an AT&T corporate store (when it isn't busy) and be nice and the fine folks always took care of me so props to them.
Just moved 7 lines away from RP. After 2 years the service changed. Dropped calls, texts delayed or not arriving and service disconnected at the end of the month(had to be reprovisioned). It may be ok if you are a very light user but I would not recommend.

Long time user of RP Cdma / Verizon.
In the past 2 weeks, my MMS texts stopped working.

Called RP.
What a joke.

Anyone figure out what the issue is or how to fix it?

This is the correct post. So many people on this site have been burned by trying to stack. The rep always comes into these threads and gives the wrong information. I'm almost starting to wonder if they do it on purpose.

Wondering the same.
I have tried many of the T-MOBILE mvno. The service is terrible in our area. And it actually got worse after the 5G transition.
