I’ve had mine for about a year and can say there’s nothing really special about it. If you’re lucky, it will come properly adjusted. I wasn’t lucky.
Mine was about 1/8” off on one side. There’s some adjustment you can do that may or may not help. It’s a pain in the ass to do, but mine is better after adjustment, but still off. I haven’t had the time to take it to a service center.
The other issue I had was the infeed/outfeed tables weren’t aligned either. Not hard to adjust, but wanted to mention they’re flimsy so they flex anyways. You get 2” of snipe on each end of your boards, but I think that’s a fairly common problem for all benchtop planers. This Ridgid may snipe slightly worse though due to the flimsy tables.
I think a Wen with the granite tables would have been a better purchase. I went with the Ridgid because it was a good deal on DTO.

I have a question about LSA fo those that have done it before.
I entered the information on the registration site, uploaded my receipt, and submitted my receipt for review. But, the info message says I need to mail the receipt in. Does uploading the receipt and submitting the receipt for review online cover that or do I still need to mail in the receipt?
