Literally just bought this over the past weekend and didn't realize I was getting a good deal. :p

JUST getting started in photography, but so far this lens has been great.

Great lens, had the old EF 50mm and just got the RF 50mm for the R5 I've had for over a year now. I picked it up from MPB, like new w/front & rear cap & box for $159. Looks like it was never touched, works great.

There are refurbished lenses on canons website for $130. I've ordered some refurbished things from them before and it's generally like new condition without the original box.
