I think nespresso pod ones would be better for you although pricier because you'll get richer flavor from espresso. These k cups are mostly to get your daily coffee fix easily and quickly. If you do decide to get this as a beginner type, I recommend getting a reusable stainless steel k cup pod so you can use whichever ground coffee you want. Better for the environment too
I'm not a big fan of these "Mini" Keurig devices, klunky and cheaply made. I bought a an "office" model used and it lasted me for years- rarely bought the destructive plastic cups, just used ground coffee and metal refillables.
Agree with Nespresso devices for good and quick espresso, just never buy Nespresso brand coffee because Nestlé is a horrible company on so many levels (and their coffee isn't very good).

Get yourself a Mr Cofee instead and some very inexpensive filters. Then you can brew a whole pot of hot coffee and save the rest to make ice coffee. The Mr Coffee machines come in different sizes if you want to brew a lot or a little.

The Mini doesn't have a water tank so you need to fill it every time you use it. It's also extremely noisy and takes awhile to warm up. The coffee that comes out isn't that hot and tastes worse compared to other models.
The Supreme and Slim 2.0 use the new Keurig design where it pokes 5 holes into the K Cup to make a multi stream for more flavor. The mini only pokes 1 hole so it is part of the single stream tech.
The K Express sold exclusively at Walmart hits a similar price point. I haven't used it yet but the machine itself looks solid.
