Current counteroffer on Verde is still $2498 with free ship and no tax in certain states. LG C1 @ $2499 as well.

They aren't the seller. They are a middleman that sets you up with a mystery authorized seller. One person's experience may be different that another person's.

It's back to $2381 on Amazon - 5% for prime users with prime CC bringing it down to $2262 (+ tax)

Not quite as good as Costco was with $500 card and subsequent price drop/refunds but for those of us without Time Machines it'll have to do Smilie

I really want to get it but I also need a new receiver which will be another $2K. Pointless buying the TV without an updated receiver for the home theater. ughhhhhh

It's showing $2381 now. Buy it if you want one cos don't know how long they'll keep it at that price. Amazon has been flip flopping the price from $2599 and $2381 for the last 2-3 days.
