Can't speak on price but a friend bought this cause of the artwork and we've played this a few times.

For those curious: It's a beautiful game, overall relatively simple (once you get past all the pieces), and does require some strategy. Simple enough for most ages, with artwork everyone can appreciate.

I've had this game for months, finally got around to playing it and I'm really enjoying it. I've played it solo and with 2 players and it was a lot of fun each time. I could see it being even better with 3 or 4. The theme is neat, the art is fantastic and the component quality is top notch. This game definitely deserves it's place towards the top of BGG best of all time list. I kind of wish I had waited and gotten the collectors edition that was on sale here earlier.

CCC shows a low in December 2021 of $48

still a deal of $8 but don't be mislead that this is 40% off

Edit: I didn't read the deal correctly. It really is $16 off with shipping included or 27% off retail.

Really fun game and like others have mentioned, the artwork is beautifully done. The expansions are fun, but I'll admit, we have only broke them out a couple of times due to the space required to fully set everything up. The game, and expansions, are easy enough to learn. Overall, i am a fan and am on the waitlist for the next expansion.

Some people will complain about anything. Even with shipping it's still 16 dollars cheaper than Amazon. Not every single retailer can afford to give FS without a large purchase.

The cheapest I've seen it was 36 dollars at Game Nerdz (5 dollars shipping free at 75). This would be only 3 dollars more than that. Factor in inflation and this might be a better deal even.

You thought it was 44+8 dollars shipping didnt you? At 52 dollars it would be less of a deal but at 44, it's pretty decent.
