Saving on the bundle does not really count as getting the cpu for $25 less. Spend more to save more type of thing, which isn't really a thing in this case. If someone pairs it with an overpriced mobo (that's overpriced my more than $25) they won't save at all.

If one is going to buy the bundle anyways then yes they will benefit from it.

I know it's mainly semantics, but the devil is in the details
