Faster processor, more memory, and almost double the WiFi bandwidth.

Both support AsusMerlin as well, so it's a no-brainer.

But since this deal is dead, you're better off jumping up to the AX68U.

And to anyone who bought this exact router, good luck using AiMesh. I tried TWO AC2900 units, neither would mesh with my routers. I have an AC1900P and an AX3000. I'm not a newbie. Look for my review on Amazon for more detail. I love Asus, but this one was a miss.
