Target furniture is the only furniture banned from my house. They generally have a good brand i.e. the original pillowfort stuff, but after multiple experiences worse than any other product/company, no more furniture for me. And I say that as someone that is fine with cheap quality, but it depends on the situation and furniture that falls apart ain't it. I'm on slickdeals for price savings mainly, but cheap crap is still crap.

I'm certain that if you put your hand near one of the corners and used it as leverage to pick yourself up, you're going to spend more time down on the ground picking shit up.

Dang, I would get one of the black/espresso flavor if it was the same price.

Successfully price matched a recent order (approved even though beyond the standard 14 days per Target policy). Thanks much!

Lol and I feel exactly the same about ikea furniture. Given them a benefit of doubt again and again just to be disappointed each time. I know that feeling.

Almost everything I have is from IKEA and they're doing fine 12 years in. The only things I would never consider are their living room seating.

I have to disagree slightly. I have the tv stand of this Room Essentials set and it is an excellent stand for a 65 in tv. A while back I picked up the Project 62 Paulo 4 shelf bookcase and it was also a rock solid purchase.

I've never seen a table that looked this cheap. Free pallets or random scrap lumber would look better.

I recall making the mistake of purchasing a Good Housekeeping coffee table. [walmart.com] besides having ultra weird engineering. The top had just one layer of onion paper that came off due to a piece of masking tape being placed on it.

I picked this up recently, the corners are very sharp - it can easily cause skin abrasion if you are not careful navigating around it . This is heavy unlike the other cheap tables I have bought before so it does not wobble around and the legs might not loosen up after moving it around your living room for a year.
