I've had NOD block sites that were dangerous that I wasn't paying attention to when I clicked on them. That alone is worth it to me. Preventing infection in the first place is far better than trying to remove it later.

SECURE53 works for NOD32 only version for five PCs for one year at $27.99 which is what my family mainly uses. Thanks for the heads up, OP !

People still pay for antivirus?

Are you even downloading things directly to your PC these days?
Yeah, Microsoft stepped up their game in recent years. Defender is all most people need. I use Malwarebytes, but that's only because I found a bunch on clearance at Walmart and basically got 5 years for $15.

When purchasing does it automatically start the day of purchase? Or can you save the key/code to activate at a later date and start the year then?

As soon as you activate it, it then starts on all 3 devices.

They just don't want you pirating windows and it also serves the purpose of scanning all your files to see what apps you use since windows is basically useless except for games and ms office.

You can activate it whenever you want, and get the full year. Because I purchase it when on sale, not when I need it, I've held off activation for over 6 months with no problem. Also, whenever you do activate it, the latest version will be installed.
