Seasonic is the gold standard, but Super Flower has also been around for quite some time but we just never got them in the US. They've always made incredibly high end and reliable PSUs in the international markets. They're the OEM that produces flagship PSU's for a lot of companies. They're just as good if not better than Seasonic products.

I personally have this unit for several years -- the only complain I have is the fan is a bit loud comparing to Seasonic PX 1000, another unit I also have.
if the fan is coming on you don't have it in eco mode, or you have another model of superflower... if you take it out of eco mode the fan is audible.

i'm running this power supply on an overclocked 5900x/3080ti combo and the fan literally never comes on, no matter what i throw at it.

if the rebate is good, the price is $10 less than i paid for it last year, so considering 8.3% inflation this is bona fide slickdeal, you won't find a better power supply.

it is a bit longer than lower wattage power supplies, so make sure that your case can handle that.

No, EVGA used super flower until the G2 series. Now they use a cheaper manufacturer and their power supplies are crap because of it. For example, 850G2 vs the 850G5, the G2 outclasses the g5 by a longshot. The newer EVGA PSUs are built to a very low price point but sold at a premium price.

Does anyone know if this is the same as what is listed on cablemod as compatible with their procables? It is at https://cablemod.com/compatibility/ and says ' Super Flower® Leadex Platinum SE 1000 V2' and unsure if this is V2. Would want to keep my current cables. I have a 650 Gold Leadex III at the moment, with nothing wrong with it. Just maybe considering the upgrade.

The model number is listed at the end of the long title (also in the details section). It says SF-1000F14MP V2. Based on the model number, I believe this is the V2. I believe those are the correct cables for this psu.

I recently got this and their fan is not silent. Is this normal or should I RMA again?

I already RMA'd it first because of this noise. This is my second unit. Fan is very audible, but may put up with it since its a Platinum quality.

Anyone else have this? Can you note on your fan noise please
