It's funny, they have 2 that are the 108 qt sportsman trunks, but one is hinged (weaker lid) and this one non-hinged with the reinforced lid. This is showing for $27, considerably larger and with wheels.

Yes that is it. I have both styles. I would never buy the hinged ones again. The removable lids that are reinforced are well worth the extra cost.

The $25 108 qt the person you're replying to commented on has a 4-latch flip-up lid. The lid is not reinforced, and the hinge represents a likely future failure point.

The $27 108 qt one you're talking about has a 4-latch removable lid which is reinforced. It's also got two wheels at one end, which makes carting it around when it's full or shoving it underneath something else a lot easier. I ended up getting these. They're well worth the extra $2.

I actually went and found a YouTube video comparing the two. You're right, the Costco are clearly superior. Better production quality, thicker plastic.

They do a really good job of storage, keeping things safe and dry. I feel like I can stack them more than 6 high before even being concerned.
I think I'm going to take the opportunity to load up on another 4 of them.
I know people think this is the regular price or should be, but the inflation nowadays makes me feel like I'll be happy getting 2 for $35.
