If you're on the fence it's probably not worth getting. I think they're a really cool concept and wanted to love them but the lack of tempered glass, the annoyingly small 17" screen and the need to add furniture risers to comfortably sit at it have me awaiting a refresh or "Pro series" of the head to head.

I agree. 17inch is too small especially for the 2player fighter cabs which halves that 17inch screen. they did make some taller versions (looks like these are the shorties )

Be a real SD cheapskate and get a better,more authentic experience with a junk PC running MAME. Bonus points if you use a CRT monitor. Build a joystick and buttons out of a shoebox in 10 minutes using a $20+ DIY kit, no soldering necessary.
