They must have just dropped it thanks. I think for 55" it's worth spending another $300 to get the A90J OLED.

I'm sitting on an order of a Hisense U8G 55" for $599 from about a week ago -- this is solely for SIM racing Xbox and maybe PC down the line--trying to decide b/w the two.

That's a great price on the U8G. I wouldn't pay $300 more for the Sony.

Just bought this from amazon will be returning A80J at costco, motion blur and upscaling still isn't that good so will wait to buy OLED in future. This for almost half will do for now.

I saw your posts in the other thread, could be yours was defective or had some weird setting? I know the OLEDs are sample and hold but still should be good, and there's black frame insertion option as well.

My friend bought a 55 version of same tv and has same issues, watch some youtube videos about sony oled motion, it's known to have this issue.

I saw this in store a few weeks back in store. Refurbished with only 90 day warranty. I ended up passing don't need any more headaches. I'd pay the extra for Costco 5 year warranty.
