I had the Instant Pot Vortex Airfryer 6 qt (square, bucket-style) which I LOVED, but it died about 1.5 years in. Next, I got the Insignia 10 qt. (trays, 2 levels) which were a mess to deal with since grease would often drip onto the glass door as I was taking it out. Then of course, it got recalled due to fire-safety issues.
Can't stand this one. My parents had it, and just replaced it with another 5.3 qt power xl air fryer (with the removable basket). This one just never got food crispy. My thurd air fryer just died and I replaced it with the powerxl 5.3qt, and I've never been more satisfied.
I purchased this model about two months ago when woot had it on sale. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7. It does not have any preset cook settings like a traditional air fryer, but does a decent job of cooking everything. The grate and air basket do not come out of the cooker with ease, it takes a little work to slide them in and out. If you use it to as a toaster you might burn your hand reaching in and out. That being said for $90 you are getting a Ninja product that will probably last a while and woot has a solid return policy should this product not meet your needs.
