Great price! I was hoping for these to drop to $32 since past deals were in the $34 range.

Man, I wish more smart switches came in the normal switch form factor. I really want some smart switches, but not if they are going to be ugly and stick out like a sore thumb....

Will these support Matter? Can't find anything from Tp-Link/Kasa on their Matter/Thread commitment, would hate to buy only to be marked obsolete this fall.

I know this is the problem with these switches but they work great. Are there any other brands that are in normal form factor?

They are normal size on the outside just that back is bigger, if you have small switch box and have many wires may be harder to fit.

Unfortunately this switch will not work in a circuit with a 3-way switch. The mechanics of a 3-way are different from that of a typical switch. You can look at this website if you want a more detailed explanation.

Actually the newer version of these switches have gotten a lot smaller. They take ups less room in the gang box. It because of this smaller size that I was able to fit a couple of these into a 4 gang wall location.

I have no idea what you are talking about. These look perfectly normal.

The face plate on these are actually abnormally large and due to design you cannot use a normal/replacement faceplate.

We have a few of these and other Kasa smart stuff and they have all been by far the most reliable in terms of staying connected out of all of our smart devices. From here on I'm trying to keep things in the Kasa family because of it.

The problem that I have with these is that quite often if I manually try to turn them off, they won't. You can hit it a few times and it just looks at you funny. I was authorized for rma, but by the time I pay for shipping, I could just buy a new one.

Sounds like defective unit. Have been using three of them for past year and they always work as expected. You shouldn't pay for return shipping if it is defective.
