how long did it take for your battery to charge? I think mine is dead too since mine will not turn on.
Only a few minutes before it would turn on. Charged at normal rate after that.

Just spent the last hour with support & 2 reps trying to get this 11 activated.
Seems the refurb IMEI was never added to system correctly and both online and app activation said IMEI was not valid. Phone had to be rebranded to TW - and then both reps had to verify the PO number because the sim didn't have a $25 plan added. Now phone says I'm using my own device and has no unlock date so that's screwed up as well. Definitely won't stay any longer than the 60 days to get phone unlocked.

Out of 100 phones may be 5-10 phones have non oem parts. These refurbished iPhone are practically customer returns and never been opened. The warranty dates show the phones are not old enough to have battery or displays replaced. You keep reading manual and i keep trading them to apple Applause Stop spreading fear. You are making everyone having second guess their purchase decision.
Way to pull more information completely out of your ass. You have absolutely no clue what percentage have screens or batteries replaced. There are plenty of reasons for replacing screens and we have no idea what percent may have had major scratches or cracks when they were sent in. And we also don't know what percent they replace the battery on or of if they just replace them for any they may already be opening. The fact that most all batteriy health show 100% shows it may be a very low bar for replacement, as they often drop under 100% in a matter of months. I'm not at all spreading fear, but just want people to have actual good information and that includes the fact that the warranty may very well not work if there's a problem down the road. It shouldn't be an issue for those trading them in, but it's a legitimate concern for those who may be keeping them.

Mine didn't activate if I clicked the link in the email that automatically filled in the IMEI on the site. I had to add a character and remove it, then it accepted and worked. Once I did activate, it took about an hour and a phone reboot to finally start working. Not too smooth.

It's only a concern for those who like to make informed decisions based on actual fact rather than random assumptions.

Considering what the shipping email looked like I'm surprised any of these activate. Rep was clueless, said phone was already unlocked.

got my two refurb i11s today, came with usb type c to lighting cable, but no brick, score, I think the cable itself is like $20.

one phone had no weird vinyl screen protector, all my XRs had them, but one of the two i11s did.
The one that didn't has a purchase date of 3/22!!! I suspect this is a factory original screen, will check the underside through the sim tray later for the water indicator sticker.

the other one had the usual vinyl protector, 8/21 purchase date, but booted it up and screen seemed fine, nothing screamed this is an aftermarket screen to me. Some glue residue on the bottom that wiped off with some spit lol.

both were charged to 44%, will update them to ios 15.5 and activate them.

got one more tomorrow and another next week (not shipped yet) will be looking to trade/offload my 2 XRs that I have left.

Well my phone was doa. I contacted total wireless and they said all hardware issues have to be repaired by apple even if it's doa. So I'm sending it into Apple. If they have an issue with it being refurbished then I'll have to get total wireless to do something.

huh? no need return both phones I received today are perfect.

Cosmetically like new, I did activate both, face id worked and battery health was 100% on both.

Didn't fully test it but so far so good.

Activated both phones on TW's site, their site is being glitchy, had to retry activate it several times, kept saying no device found with my imei#s, on like the 3rd or 4th try it went through.

Their CS reps are notorious for being completely clueless and half of them still quote the 12-month unlock policy and people have to hang up and call back to get someone who knows anything. The terms state that they have a 30 day return policy and they're also responsible for delivering what you purchased. Others have also gotten the runaround from them on DOA phones and most ended up successfully disputing the charge through their credit card or PayPal rather than dealing with their incompetence.

Quote from Terms and Conditions :
New Apple iPhones are covered by a one-year limited warranty offered and administered by Apple. Please visit apple.com for more information.

To the extent available for purchase, refurbished iPhones and certified pre-owned phones are not covered by a limited warranty but may be returned for a refund within thirty (30) days of purchase.

You might want to see what the "battery health" percentage shows in settings. I think most all show 100%, but if you've got one that shows a little less, there might be a better chance it was never cracked open even to replace the battery.
Yep battery shows 100% but says it might take weeks to calibrate or something
