"... it will truly change your life ..."

if this is true for someone, then how much of a life did they really have?

a fool and their money are too easily parted.

Japan is still ranking 2nd for most longevity countries. From what I understand, many kitchen appliances/pans in Japan still use Teflon. I don't see why we should concen too much about Teflon causing cancer when we should more focus on other things to make us live longer.

.
hilarious. present this in a logic and/or statistics and prepare to get ripped apart.

How was my comment hilarious? Well, I googled and there were several articles saying in 2022, Japan was ranked 2nd the most longevity country behind Hong Kong. My family is from Japan and, honestly, I am from big extended family but know only one of my aunt died from cancer (leukemia) among 8 siblings. My father's side grandparents lived until they were 95 and 98. My mother's side grandparents lived until they are in 80s or maybe in 90s but they didn't die from cancers. My parents are in 80s and they never suffered from cancers.

I am pretty sure my parents use Teflon coated pans. I have never seen them using ceramic coating or cast iron pans. My quick research told me US is 11th ranked for people with cancer and Japan is 20th. If more people are avoiding Teflon because of causing cancer in US, why US has higher cancer rate than Japan?

My points in original posts were there are other things that can cause cancer and there are other ways you unexpectedly die from like car accident. You can avoid all the risks that can make you sick or die from, but sometimes, things happen and you just die. So, why not enjoy what you want while you can?

let's just start with this... that you somehow have the data which demonstrates that Japanese people have a statistically higher amount of exposure to teflon coated pans than other countries and that you have correlated this data to various kinds of cancer accounting for other environmental factors. Your comment is a total joke from a factual and academic standpoint. Making arguments up as you go....

The Japaness brand multi-pot (Bruno) that I wanted to get has Teflon coating, according to Amazone reviewers which made me realize I grew up in a country with Teflon coated cookware.

I am still waiting for you to link me to scientific studies that says Teflon is the only cause of cancers. It may add the rink to getting cancers but what percent? I know too many family members and people I know in US getting cancers. My mother-in-law died from lung cancer when she was in 60s but she smoked cigarettes all of her life. I don't see her quit using Teflon cookware could save her from getting lung cancer. My father-in-law died from COVID-19 at age of 72 or so but he was very overweight and suffered from all kinds of health issues including Type 2 diabetes. Could he be alive if he avoided Teflon? I do not think so. One of cousin's partner died from cancer but he was around 60. A lady I know is currently suffering from 2nd cancer on her life (overian cancer in teenage years and breast cancer currently). Could she be healthier if she avoided Teflon? Probably not because she has other health issues including Type 2 diabetes.

So, show me the "factual and academic standpoint" of scientific studies that Teflon is the only cause of the cancers. I mean, in California, almost everything is known to cause cancers. Are you gonna avoid all of those things that cause cancers? The reality is that it probably won't matter. You can be very careful about avoiding some things so you won't get cancer but it sometimes just happens. Maybe you have a gene that is more likely to get you cancer. Have you ever heard people who never smoked in their lives getting lung cancer? Could have avoiding Teflon prevent these lung cancer patients to from getting lung cancer? Skin cancer is among the highest ranked cancers in US but people still don't wear sunscreen when they go out, no matter the weather. Are you saying you wear sunscreen all over your body every day like you avoid Teflon?

That's a good catch. DYou have to consider duty tax can apply for any international packages when you buy stuff overseas.
