"A toaster gets a double wow? Yep, it will truly change your life and how you look at a slice of toast. beautifully browned and satisfying crunch on the outside and a pillowy soft, fresh out of the oven insides. To truly appreciate this, slice your own bread about a half to 5/8" thick and you'll experience the wonder of Japanese excellence in toast!"

If you don't have access to something like Japanese milk bread, there's really no point in buying this. It's not going to work any magic on your Wonder-bread. If you can get milk bread, the topped toasts this thing makes are great. It sorta does a combination of direct heat (toasting the bottom of the bread), keeping the moisture in the bread from escaping and steaming the bread, and then using indirect heat on the top to cook toppings (like an egg). It also has a frozen setting (which I haven't tested) so you can reheat the bread directly from frozen.
I absolutely don't think it's worth this price unless you live for this style of bread.

Give the video a watch and decide if it's worth the price tag.
And no, it doesn't look like the toaster is only for bread made out of rice. That makes no sense since Japanese bread uses wheat.

Lol what, u be trolling. Rice bread??? All good bread is made from wheat, you need gluten to make bread. Rice bread is some gluten free dense rock of a loaf, and does not look anything close to the bread they have pictured with the machine in stock photos. LOL
