"A toaster gets a double wow? Yep, it will truly change your life and how you look at a slice of toast. beautifully browned and satisfying crunch on the outside and a pillowy soft, fresh out of the oven insides. To truly appreciate this, slice your own bread about a half to 5/8" thick and you'll experience the wonder of Japanese excellence in toast!"

Also I do my toast in my air fryer, the one that is like an oven with racks and it is amazing.
"How do you know?"
"Cause I bought it in Japan."

This is a 'peak empire' moment that people would be willing to pay for something a cheap toaster, toaster oven or their existing oven would do just fine. Especially since if you read the bad Amazon reviews (I also for the heck of it used Google Translate to read the reviews in Japanese) you'd know you're taking a real chance it goes kaput. A cheap toaster works fine because it is NOT A FREAKING COMPUTER with all kinds of connections that can go bad and if it goes bad you can toss it and buy another. If you're an engineer and can fix it yourself, have at it!
I am shaking my head in amazement that they could convince anyone to buy this, especially with the raging inflation, food shortages, semi-collapse of the stock markets, collapse in crypto and a possible war on the horizon and THIS is posted as a 'Smart' 'deal'?????
I long for the days of the old site where deals were incredible - I'm especially fond of the Honeybaked Ham screwup on pricing hams that they were forced in the end to honor - I bought 2 hams. Now THAT was a deal!
March 5, 2010 (I was lurking for years before I signed up) - the deal was a 9 lb spiral half ham delivered on 5/5/2010 for $37.50. Honeybaked fought like heck but legally they were at fault and in the end they had to honor the pricing. I am pretty sure the normal price should have been $75.00. I just checked their site and shipped to my location in Kansas, a 6-7 lb whole ham (no 9 lbs available) costs $112 so I imagine it would be even more for 9 bs.
Great ham, too!
