For Amazon card and other Chase card holders, every quarter check this link for the latest promos. Sometimes you get a hit (Amazon card), and sometimes you don't, (Priority Club).

Guess not for everyone?!
So annoying that you have to "activate" offers on Chase cards.

FWIW, it's retroactive to 4/1 if you activate it by 6/30. But I never use my Prime card for anything but Amazon purchases, so that sucks that I haven't been taking advantage of this promo.
Yep, thats what I meant. I dont use that card physically anywhere but on my Amazon account for the 5%. Thats it.
Having to activate something instead of just setting it up once is BS. It just is. What a PITA. Where is the card where I can set gas at 5% and forget about it?
Citi Custom Cash will get you 5% back on gas every month as long as that is your highest spend catagory
I'll stick with my 4% gas cash back from my Costco Visa since the Amazon points aren't actually a true/full 5% and I can spend my 4% cash anywhere I like.
I'm confused by your post. It's 5% of the amount you spend in "points", then you can convert that to cash by depositing to your checking account if you like. I just logged into my account and went through the steps and was presented with this:
Convert your points to cash back
Keep in mind: $1 is equal to 100 points.
Plus you can do this any time instead of once a year with Costco. Outside of the 5% CB deals, I also use my Costco card for gas, but I know its shortcomings.
That is odd my amazon prime visa through Chase did get accepted
Try again, at 1st mine didn't activate, so I typed in the info instead of doing auto fill and the 2nd time worked, it activated!
Thx op, tu and repped!
Redeem straight to your bank account, 1 cent per point
NO!! Never redeem chase ultimate rewards (CUR) for 1 cent per point!!!! If you get/have the chase reserve, they often have promos to redeem for 1.5 cents per point or use them in chase's travel portal with a Reserve of the 1.5 cents per point. Your best value will be to transfer to travel partners for flights and maybe hotels though if you look around. Most point enthusiasts value CURs at 1.8 cents per point or so due to their high flexibility and ease of use.

Agree on Ultimate Rewards, Amazon Chase card is it's own currency/just cash, not UR points

Are people getting a confirmation email of enrollment in this promo? Usually the Chase Freedom quarterly categories give a confirmation email. I called in and confirmed I was enrolled, but am paranoid without a confirmation.
