Chicken one has more additives whereas the beef is 100% beef with a higher protein content, just something to keep in mind.
Certainly not the worst ingredients in the world but way better than most dog treats/food. I've personally dehydrated my own cuts of chicken and use as dog treats. Free of wheat and soy at least. If humans can benefit from cutting carbs imagine what it could do for animals.

Buy an air fryer and make your own. It's pretty simple.

According to the ingredients they appear to be free of wheat

"There's not too much of a strong meaty odor to it and it's crunchy, not soft chew. The pieces are pretty big, about 1.5"x4" but you can break it to give smaller bite size pieces." - From an Amazon review. The beef looks to be dehydrated beef lung. My dog LOVES that, at $10 for 2 pounds is stupid cheep, ordering 4 bags.

My rescue maltipoo is an extremely picky eater in her food and treats. what works one day will not work the next (yes, she's very spoiled and a total diva). I'm in for a few bags Smilie hopefully she likes them!

Are these fairly soft? Like you could mush it between two fingers? Or more like slim Jims
No it's hard and crunchy (my order from Costco just came in). From the texture I think the beef lung is freeze-dried. Don't expect beef jerky.

They are fairly soft. Like a Slim Jim minus all the grease. They are sturdy enough to not break apart easily but soft enough that you can tear off small size pieces. For reference, I stick a couple in my pocket before going on a walk with my pup and tear off smaller pieces to help train her to not pull on the leash as much. Works wonders!
I think you replied to the wrong thread - the single-ingredient beef lung is hard and crunchy; the Slim-Jim-shaped chicken is soft.

Just FYI, beef is 18oz per bag, not like the chicken and lamb is 35oz per bag.

Any options that don't involve slaughtering innocent animals?
