Mining cards are just starting to be sold off on the used market. This card is going for about $250 used currently. Given that the cards were only released in late Oct of last year, second hand mining cards are not that risky of a buy. Prices will have to reflect the incoming deluge of the used market. Hold or buy used imo.

Probably not going to be a deluge until after ETH goes PoS. No one knows when that will be. Prices will be going down as long as new retail cards are staying in stock, but don't expect crazy cheap prices until after ETH merge.

$50 seems worth it for a new card with warranty no? Biggest risk with mining cards is the fan dying.
This is below MSRP and is a decent price at $300 since it performs about 4% worse at 1080p and 10% worse at 1440p than the RTX 3060 (3060's MSRP is $330 but marked up to $400 right now).
The next mining crypto boom is just beginning. Add to that the Chinese lockdown and pending Taiwan invasion, you might want to get the GPU sooner rather than later.....
