I have this one which is ~$10 more https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainst...e/54315974

I recommend and IMO it looks nicer than the one in this thread.

So you left the umbrella open on a windy day, the wind caught it and caused it to put pressure on the glass which in turn caused it to shatter. Sounds more like error on your part for leaving the umbrella open rather than a quality issue.

Got a set similar to this a few years ago. Held up nice. Then we had a really windy day and the umbrella was still open. Next day the umbrella was still there, but the glass top had exploded. Still picking up glass to this day.

I have the exact same walmart set. I think the chairs are exactly the same, but I think the square table it sturdier in design.

Totally my fault. Just seeing this post reminded me of the story, and to hopefully pass on some advice with glass top tables.
