The last week or two I don't see the option to redeem points for gift cards

[Nvm, different card.. I thought it's Venture X with $395 annual fee]
Chase sapphire is probably the best overall deal based on my little research. The credit card expert with ChooseFI recommends it as their top choice.
Happy to learn some other ChooseFI listener here. Love Brad and Jonathan( sad to see Jonathan leave the show though). Brad is an expert in travel hack and I agree that CSR is the best card overall. You can combine that with a chase freedom to get 1.5 cash back on anything and transfer that point to CSR points. Travel cash back at CSR is 1point=1.5c. So your 1C spent becomes 2.25c( 1.5x1.5). Fee is $550 a year but comes with tons of perks.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
I was recently denied a card from Citi because of too many inquiries. I signed up for 3 cards over the last year, one was Capital One. My credit score is over 800 and low utilization and no missed payments.
Does the 3 pulls from Cap One count as 3 separate inquiries?
Going to lay off new CC signups for a while.
